Our protagonist Anya Gage finds herself stuck at a party she finds no interest in. As she eventually makes the decision to leave, Anya runs into no other than knight sebring. As innocent and Sheltered as Anya was, she still had some idea about Knight Sebring.

He’s well known to run the hottest club in town. Once meeting, there comes an instant and undeniable attraction between the two. Although Knight knows himself enough to overcome these primal urges to protect Anya’s innocents from himself. Knight Sebring is a man of intensity, and the people who involve themselves with him are not for the faint of heart, and no one knows that more than Knight Sebring.

Although he tries the best he could to let her go, once Knight witnesses Anya is in a troubling situation at the party, Knight Sebring comes to the decision to be the one to protect her, take care of her, comfort her, and be with her. A moving and intense book like 50 Shades of Grey.

Slow Surrender by Cecilia Tan

On the more dominating and daring side of books like 50 Shades of Grey, you can find yourself picking up Slow Surrender by Cecilia Tan. When our waitress, Karina, meets our mysterious businessman, James, in a New York bar, Karina finds an interest in James as she gets a sense of desire towards him.

As they begin to get more acquainted, Karina begins to realize that this man can bring out her most daring and deepest sexual fantasies, while awakening her to an extreme part of herself that was not even known by karina.

While exploring these new found fantasies, Karina begins to desire more than James touch. She is craving Jame’s love and affection, and Karina will do what she needs to achieve that. An interesting read with great back and forth between characters. Fans of the non-stop tension between characters similar to 50 Shades of Grey will have a great time with this read.

Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas is a novel that follows protagonist Ryen, who at a young age got paired with a pen pal whose name is Misha. Although they spent years writing back to one another, the two never had a chance to meet face to face. Suddenly, Misha has an unknown accident which causes him to cease his letters to Ryen.

Not long after, a new student named Masen was transferred to her school. Intrigued by Masen, it is soon revealed to be Ryens pen pal Misha who actually transferred over due to unforeseen circumstances. Misha, who is identified as a more punk type personality, notices that Ryen is nothing as she described herself in their letters to one another.

Instead, Ryen seems to be everything Misha despises in people. The preppy popular kind of students that Misha hates. Once he comes to terms with her lies, Misha decides to make her life a living hell. Although this does the opposite effect on Ryen and she becomes attracted to his aggressive behavior.

The two then begin an interesting lustful relationship between them that is similar to 50 Shades of Grey and comes with twists throughout the entire novel keeping you intrigued from front to back. So, if you’re on the hunt for books like 50 Shades of Grey – this is a must read.

Bared to You by Sylvia Day

If you enjoyed the more psychological topics and themes in 50 Shades of Grey then Bared To You by Sylivia Day will intrigue you as well. The story begins with Eva Tramell just moving into her New York apartment, preparing for her new job as an assistant to a junior account manager.

As Eva begins her first day of work in the office building, she misplaced her name tag which was returned by Gideon Cross, a wealthy young man, who is instantly attracted to Eva as soon as they meet. After returning Eva’s name tag, the two begin to run into each other frequently in the building. With constant tension between Eva and Gideon, their relationship runs into a surprising revelation between the two that they both suffer from sexual trauma in their own past that holds them back intimately.

They bond over these traumas, and attempt to overcome their demons together as they explore themselves in ways that they never imagined. A more optimistic and healing story between two characters that give the same feeling of new and exciting experiences shown in 50 shades of Grey.
